What type identifications are required?

The signer may be personally known by the Notary. The signer may also provide two acceptable witnesses with proper identification that knows the signer. However, Georgia Law requires official documentation that states the identification of the person holding the card. Some examples are: Georgia driver's license or non-driver's identification card, U.S. Passport, Foreign Passport stamped by U.S. Bureau of Citizenship, Driver or non-driver license issued by another state (Canada or Mexico), Military I.D., & I.D. issued by the U.S. Bureau of Citizenship (i.e. a Permanent Resident card)

Are witnesses required?

In some instances witnesses are required. The witness must be credible (impartial and believable). If the notary is to produce witnesses, additional fees will be applied. Contact us for details.

What if I'm requiring services outside of your normal business hours?

Our service are available outside of normal business hours, however a confirmed appointment is required. Issues of importance to both the signer and the notary would be considered and discussed prior to the appointment

Are you insured?

Yes, we are Insured. This is what makes us legitimate.

What are your terms and conditions?

1.  Service Scope: Refer to the Services Offered tab of this website for a clearly defined list of Services that we offer.  Such as:  witnessing signatures, administering oaths, certifying documents. 
2.  Fees and Payment Terms: Refer to the Fees tab of this website for a description of our fees and how our fees are calculated.  
3.  Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy: We will schedule with you, an appropriate amount of time for signings depending on your particular document(s). Anyone signing, including Witnesses, must be on time for the appointment and have proper Identification with them. The Notary cannot wait beyond the scheduled time limit for signers who are not prepared. Signer(s) must be in the presence of Notary at the time the signature is notarized. There are no exceptions.  Travel fees are separate from the notarization fees. In instances where the notary travels to the location but no notarization occurs because the signer isn't ready, the notary will still charge the travel fee to cover their time and expenses. Payment is required for the missed appointment before any rescheduling can occur.
4.  Jurisdiction and Legal Compliance: Georgia notaries public may perform notarial acts anywhere within the State of Georgia.  We can also legally notarize out-of-state documents as long as the document(s) are notarized within the boundaries of of the State of Georgia and in accordance with all local state requirements.

6.  Limitation of Liability:  liabilities are limited to the scope of our notarial duties and does not extend to legal advice or the legal validity of the documents.
7.  Confidentiality: We assure confidentiality of documents and information, except as required by law.
8.  Conflict of Interest: We reserve the right of refusing service in cases of conflict of interest or where the legality or ethical nature of the document is in question.
9.  Record Keeping:  We maintain records of notarial acts as required by law.
10.  Travel Limitations: We service the Metro Atlanta area.
11.  Dispute Resolution: Disputes between the client and a notary are resolved with review of these terms and conditions.  Issues will be resolves amicably through open communication.  In cases where disputes cannot be resolved directly between the client and the notary, it might escalate to mediation involving notary association.
12.  Amendments to Terms: Terms and conditions are subject to change.  If significant changes are made the client will be informed through direct communication.  For example, changes might include additional charges for urgent appointments.
13.  Acknowledgment of Terms: As Providers, we insure that the terms and conditions are presented in a way that is easily accessible to the user. This means ensuring that the user has a reasonable opportunity to review the terms before agreeing to them.  Using our services, demonstrates clear and affirmative consent to the terms.

Do customers walk in for service at your address?

We travel to our clients.  As mobile notaries, we meet clients in various locations, depending on the convenience and preference of both the notary and the client. Common meeting places include:

1.  Client's Home or Office: A popular choice for convenience, especially if the documents are sensitive or numerous.

2.  Public Places: Such as coffee shops, libraries, or hotel lobbies, which offer a neutral and often convenient location.

3.  Financial Institutions: Some clients prefer meeting at their bank, especially if the documents are related to financial matters.

4.  Law Offices: For legal documents, meeting at an attorney's office can be convenient, especially if legal advice is required.

5.  Hospitals or Care Facilities: For clients who are not mobile, notaries often travel to hospitals or nursing homes.

6.  Real Estate Offices: For real estate transactions, meeting at a real estate office can be practical.

7.  Government Offices: For certain types of documents, meeting at a government office may be necessary or more convenient.

8.  Title Companies: Particularly for real estate transactions, meeting at a title company is common.

Can you notarize my real property documents?

Yes, I am a Certified Notary Signing Agent. However, in attorney only states an attorney must be present or involved. A Notary Signing Agent still handles the notarization part of the process. A list of attorney only states include: Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Massachusetts, New York, South Carolina, South Dakota, Vermont, and West Virginia.

On the other hand, Properties located in Escrow States (i.e. California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, New Mexico, and Arizona) typically use independent Notary Signing Agents for home loan closings.

What type of payment methods do you accept?

We are powered by Stripe. This makes it easy for customers to pay by accepting other payment types in addition to Cash: Cards, Wallets, Bank debits and transfers, Buy-now & pay-later; and In-person Credit and Debit Card payments. We also accept Zelle. 

Are Remote Online Notarization(s) allowed in the state of Georgia?

Georgia does not currently allow remote online notarization or eSignatures on notarized documents. To notarize a document in Georgia, you will need to schedule a time and place to meet with a commissioned walk-in or mobile notary.
